My Eyeko Haul & Initial Thoughts & Swatches

Got my Eyeko.com Haul from the Uk yesterday. It actually got here pretty fast and is cheaper than buying the products stateside. So, I took some pictures and posted some swatches. I will briefly describe my initial experience with the products. I haven’t full used them as of yet. All the items I ordered are shown above. Going from left to right I got:
Strawberry Fat Balm
Sparkle Powder (this was free)
Original Cream
Tinted Cream
Sexy Eyes (5 in 1 eye shadows)
Mascara (it’s in a squeeze tube)
Face Off Cleansing wipes

Here is a pic with the products opened

Swatches of the Sparkle Powder, Cream and Tinted cream

1)The sparkle powder comes in a pink cardboard box and is held in place by a pink puff. The sparkles are iridescent silver/whitish and have mild sweet smell. The sparkles would look nice mixed in with some body lotion or applied on the center of the lips for a poutier look. (It is messy!)

2)The cream is a favorite amongst celebs like Kylie Minogue who love the A-list glow. The cream is a thick pinkish/goldish color. You just need a small amount when applying it to the face. I mixed mine with some moisturizer and applied it to the face. It really did give me a nice flawless look; much nicer than the Stila Illuminating tinted moisturizer. I would probably only use it in the cheek area or as a highlight, if I don’t want an all over glow. I like it so far! This cream is Infused with skin perfecting light reflectors and antioxidant Vitamins A,E and C.

3)The tinted cream is similar to the original cream, but feels a bit softer to me. The more you add the thicker and darker the cream looks. I used a subtle amount to add some contour to my cheeks and set it with some contouring powder. I am still trying to see what else to do with this one. The tinted cream contains hydrating Jojoba boosted with antioxidants Vitamins A,E and C.

4)The Strawberry Fat Balm I just love. It smell so good, feels moisturizing and gives me a nice lollipop red lip. I really liked the Balm. :) It don’t stay on too long though, but I am happy to re-apply…it’s cute!

Sexy eyes 5 in 1 eye shadows

Another pic showing the eye shadows

1)The Sexy Eyes eye shadows are really pretty and soft. They apply nice with a brush and are soft enough to get good color with just fingertips. It did not come labeled with names, but I named it according to what the website said and what the colors looked like to me. I used a MAC paintpot under neath as a primer and so far the color is still on. The eye shadows go on quite shimmery and are kinda  sheer unless you build it up or use a paintpot. At least on my not so light skin tone.

2)I totally forgot to take a pic of the mascara tube, out of the package. Oops! I honestly was not impressed with the mascara. It made no difference on my lashes and it was clumping as I applied it. I think I need to use some mascara under it like (CG Lash Blast) before applying it. It is a pretty neat idea having it in a tube, too bad I was (again) not impressed with the mascara alone. I will follow up with you guys on this one.

3)Oh and before I forget, I have to mention the Face Off Cleansing wipes. The wipes are really, really soft and removed the makeup I had on. I did not have too much makeup on though. They come in a box with 20 wipes packaged individually. The packaging is cute and the size is convenient for purses. Each towel has Coco Glucoside (a gentle natural cleanser derived from coconuts) and antioxidant Vitamin E. So, if anything I’d get it for the Vitamin E.
