In my quest to try new skin products I picked up a Japanese cleanser by Kanebo. The store carries the cleansing foam in either aloe vera or peach, along with Sheseido clay cleansers. The one I have been using is the Naive facial cleansing foam with Aloe Vera $7. The cleanser comes in a green and white soft tube with an Aloe Vera plant depicted in front. Oh yea and some Japanese writing. The ingredients are listed in English in the back by way of a sticker; I will post those at the bottom.

The cleanser is white and in a way reminds me of noxema, but without the cold tingly feeling. Mainly because it is thick and you literally need like a dab to get the product all over the face. I find you have to really warm the product with your hands, since it is hard to spread. The easiest way for me to work this product is with a face brush. I dab a small amount on my palm, rotate a dampened face brush into the cleanser and then use the brush on my face.
Overall, the cleanser feels really rich and covers the entire face nicely. All you need is a small amount of product or you will have enough cleanser on your face to play with for days. LOL! I have not had any problems with this product drying out my skin, but it can be stripping. It is definitely not for everyone and I think it my cause over drying if used more than once or twice a day depending on the skin. I normally use it once in the morning to get an initial super cleaning and at night I use my other products. The cleanser does have a slight perfumy scent to it, but doesn’t bother me any. Just depends on whether you like fragrance in your products or not. I really like how well it breaks up my make up and how clean and soft my skin feels afterwards.
