Hey all! Well…I have been having lack of sleep lately and it is making me look tired. My first class is early in the morning and I am not looking the part of an early riser. If I am having a sleepy morning I just throw on some Stila illuminating tinted moisturizer, powder, lip gloss and go. However, today I decided to not go looking tired. Funny thing is…most people around me are not wearing makeup, so I get away with looking dead and tired. LOL! As usual I wish my camera took nicer shots, but here goes.
LOL! My lipstick don’t match on camera.

What was used: All MAC unless stated otherwise
1.) eye base- used concealer and foundation (paints, paintpots, UDPP, any base that works for you)
2.) nanogold e/s over base, under bottom eye lash line and inner and outer corners
I used MAC nanogold eyeshadow to brighten my eyes. I applied the e/s to the entire eye area-on top of the base, as an under eye base-close to bottom lash line and to the outer and inner corners. This gives me that I am awake look. (use which ever highlighter works for you.)
3.) sweet chestnut e/s on eye lid
This is the rich plum/cranberry e/s from MAC’s Spiced Chocolate quad. I used it on the eyelid and tried to keep the color from exceeding the eye corner.
4.) NYX sweet pink e/s from crease to under brow bone area
After sweet chest nut I applied NYX sweet pink e/s on the crease and faded upwards towards the brow bone area (a brown eyeshadow would also work well because of the contrast)
5.) prunella kohl pencil to line…inner, top and bottom of eye
I used MAC’s eye kohl pencil in prunella to line the eyes, since I did not want an eyeliner color that would darken the area around the eyes. I think this makes the eyes look smaller and less bright. (maybe a thin black line would work) I also used prunella to tightline the eyes, since I did not want a white or nude color. I think white sometimes look a bit odd.
I always Curl my eyelashes and walk them up.
6.) CG lash blast mascara in black
I love this mascara!! It’s my fave drugstore mascara and I like to use it under my other mascaras. It gives my eyelashes extra length.
7.) prolash in black
I used MAC ProLash to top of the eyelashes. I like that it is a nice dark black and gets well in between the lashes. It can get goopy coming out the tube, but I still like it. I apply this literally after applying the lash blast per eye…I don’t let the lash blast dry.
8.) rich flesh e/s to fill in brows
Just a fleshy brown color, since I don’t want my eyebrows looking too dark and dramatic
Hope this works for you guys… on those days after a long night.
