I decided to do some international shopping this month and finally have received both of my orders. Well except for the MAC Lipglass, which I got here.
The first product I ordered is the Oriyen Pearl Cream. I have been using the cream for only a few days…I will let you guys know how it goes. What I can say is that it has a nice mild scent, has a very soft texture, is non-oily and moisturizes quite well. I have to try it longer. Here’s a small description of the cream:
“Pearl’s superior nourishment promotes skin renewal for a smoother, firmer and refined appearance. It minimizes sun damage by discouraging melanin formation and filtering out damaging UV rays, for fair radiant skin. Blended with natural Vitamin E, it works synergistically to nurture a clear, blemish-free complexion.”
The next products I ordered from sasa.com a couple weeks ago and got it today.
If you guys remember, on one of my posts I mentioned that I was looking for a cheaper eye cream. Well I wasn’t lying….can you say $2.60. The product I ordered for the eyes was COSMED Eye Care “Voom” Green Tea Eye Gel. It is not a cream, but a gel. DUH! The product had five reviews and overall 4/5 stars; it’s also out of stock. So I had to try it once it came back in stock (I ordered two.) Here’s a description of the eye gel:
COSMED “ VOOM” GREEN TEA Eye Gel is a multiple action eye treatment of non-sticky gel formula, enriched with natural Green Tea and Aloe Vera extracts as anti-oxidant and moisturizing active, Witch Hazel extract as tightening and firming agent, Mulberry extract as anti-spot and whitening essential and for restoring young, healthy and charming eyes. Your skin will stay soft, supple, bright and firm.
- Lighten dark circles
- Tighten eye bags
- Erase fine lines
- Anti-puffiness
- Anti – oxidant and UV defense
- Deep moisturizing
- Maintain hydro balance for suppleness and softness
I also ordered Baby Pink Milk Base to use as a face primer for $5.00. The product got okay reviews and I wanted to try it. The description is as follows:
“Can be used as a makeup base to cover up freckles, scars, blemishes, or uneven skin tones. Let your skin be smooth and silky as like as baby skin.”
I must add on here, that I have recently tried the talked about Monistat Anti-Chafing Gel as a primer and it works great. By the way this is not the gel for your vajayjay, it is used to sooth skin, protect it and help control excess moisture. So I don’t want to get the oh gross it’s Monistat gel…. thats just a brand ladies and gents. Even better I also bought the CVS brand of the Ant-Chafing Gel and it worked the same way. Compare the ingredients on the back and they are the same ones. That cost me under two dollars, since it was on sale.
So try it and save your self some money. It contains the main ingredient as a $40 primer. We also discussed the Monistat gel in makeup school. They recommend it, but of course put it in a different container. A pink one, cuz it’s pretttttier.
The Final product I purchased was the MAC Lipglass in Grapefruit. I decided to pass on most of the collection, since I just wasn’t drawn to it too much. Not that it is a bad collection, I just don’t really need it. I do want 3 of the eyeshadows, which Dillards did not get in today. I waited a week for them to get the collection in, since I have money in a Dillards gift card. (They only got 2 eyeshadows in.)
I am still waiting on my student discount card too.
So then, online shopping here I come….I like getting the postcards they mail with the collections anyway.
