My Current Skincare Products

Everyone has their favorite products and those products that work well for them. I have combination skin, which is oily on the T-zone and dry on the cheeks. My cheeks tend to get really dry at times, especially if I happen to wash my face over twice a day. Another thing about my skin is that it does have its occasional breakouts and is sensitive as well. The following products are ones that work for me right now and I do not see my self trying new ones for a while. I am trying to cut it down to a lesser amount at some point.

Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel - I use this cleanser first thing in the morning to cleanse my face and keep my pores clean. It’s a simple cleanser, but a small amount goes a long way and lasts a long time. I just add a small amount on a face brush and scrubba dub dub. It also contains salicylic acid to help control breakouts and pore clogging.

Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant - I love this exfoliator, because it works and is gentle at the same time. It’s a rice-based enzyme powder that keeps my face looking brighter and helps clear up any dark spots on my face - as in marks left after pimples.
Update: I forgot to mention that I sometimes rotate this one with the Clinique 7 day scrub. (pic some where below.)

Eucerine Gentle hydrating Cleanser - I use this cleanser at night before I head to bed. It is gentle and moisturizing on my sensitive skin (cheeks.) It don’t clog my pores and leaves my skin feeling nice and soft. (It burns so bad, if you get it in your yo eyes.) This product is really hard to find, but you can get it at Ulta stores or online.

DHC Extra Nighttime Moisture - Since I tend to be oily on the T-zone I have to do my extensive moisturizing at night. (Give my cheeks some moisture, while I sleep.) I apply this creme before bed and come morning my face is nice, soft and radiant. ( I like that it has Olive Oil in it.) :)

Merlot Grapeseed Moisturizer - Although I tend to rotate moisturizers, my favorite is this one. It is not oily and keeps me from looking like a fireball in hot weather. (I don’t think this is moisturizing in winter though.) It has natural red grape seed polyphenols (antioxidants) said to inhibit the aging process; SPF 15. Very soft feeling creme … kind of looks like yogurt.

I am currently using the Shiseido Bio-performance Super Eye Contour Cream -it comes in a cute container, but is pricey. I am currently trying to find a cheaper product that will work on my eyes.

Sonia Kashuk Eye Makeup Remover - I use this to remove my eye makeup, because it does not make my eyes hurt at all. It works really good and is easy to find. If I am removing a large amount of makeup I use the DHC Deep Cleansing Oil (on first pic) - you apply this all over your face while it is dry and work it in. It has a slight oily feeling at first, but once you mix it with water that feeling is gone. It just washes the gunk out of your face. Love it!

Clinique Mild Clarifying Lotion - I finally went out and got this one! I used to use the number 2 exfoliator, but it felt like it burned my face. This one does not have any alcohol and is gentle on my skin. I am liking it so far, but I keep wanting a fresher feeling from it. I only wish it came with a pump, similar to the one on the liquid facial soap. The lotion is kind of thick (like a beaten egg white or something) sounds gross I know. Either way it has kept my face looking well so far.
EDIT: not as sticky as an egg white though.

Clinique Rinse Off Foaming Cleaner - This cleanser I like to use when traveling. It stays shut and a little goes a long way. Along with removing my makeup, cleansing my face and yep it foams up. I am currently out of this…. I purchase it before I travel only.

I use a mask twice a week. The masks I use are the Got To Be in Your Face Clay Mask or the DHC Mineral Mask. If I don’t have a lot of time I use the first mask and if I have some extra time I use the second one. The DHC mask is a little pricey, so I usually get it when its on sale. I like them both, but like the DHC better. They both draw out face impurities.
