As yal know, I am a student at the Academy of Aesthetics Arts and Sciences here in Arizona. Today is actually my 3rd day in class and it has been a lot of fun. Liz and Heather run the school and they are really nice, fun and great instructors. I picked up some good tips today and got to turn my face into a skeleton (for learning purposes), along with many other things. One of the things I really like about the school, is the small classes. So they can focus on each individual student. 
Not to mention that the makeup used is exclusively MAC and Ben Nye. Well anyway, I went ahead and took some quick pics of my MAC Pro Student Kit for you guys. I was keeping busy at school, but snatched some shots during break. I was not able to write down the colors to the products, but you can get an idea of what comes in the kit. (I will list the names I remember.) Keep in mind MAC sometimes discontinues products or changes them out, so the kits may be different for some areas. Oh yea, the polish markings on the products, are just so I can tell apart my products from someone else’s.
EDIT: I went ahead and listed all the makeup colors.
Here’s what the MAC briefcase looks like inside and out. It also comes with a shoulder strap.

Hi Jess, I do not know the price of the kit. Mine was included in the tuition. I’ll find out and get back to you on it.
UPDATE: I spoke to my instructor and her words were ” The MAC kits are $900 and some if you were to just go and buy it. With the Pro Student discount it’s 40% off, so around $400 and some. Hope this helps!

If you live in Arizona I recommend The Academy of Aesthetics (480) 967-9701. The school uses exclusively MAC and Ben Nye products and is run by someone who used to work for MAC (was a director too) So, the instructors are real big on everything MAC.
If you live in a different state you can try looking on the MAC Pro site for a list of eligible schools that have the MAC student kit. http://www.macpro.com/templates/user/pro_student.tmpl You can then contact those schools and find out about the instructors there and how they operate. Otherwise, the only way to get a MAC makeup course, is to work for MAC. They send their employees to a course. Hope this helps.

I have wondered if MAC student kits are available for purchase, since many people say they are. However, I emailed MAC Pro a couple months ago regarding the MAC Pro student kit and they told me it was only available to students attending certain schools.
