I bought the Stila brush roll a few months ago and am really happy I did. The brush roll is made of faux leather and is really soft. What I like the most, is that there is a lot of room for brushes. You can fit more than one per brush holder, depending on the brush size. Most importantly to me, is that it fits MAC brushes. 
I almost didn’t buy it, thinking it wouldn’t fit MAC. Another cool thing: the brush roll is long enough to fit Loew Cornell. I own 5 Loew Cornell brushes, that I use often. Especially the 270 maxine mop in 3/8. I like to use this brush for applying glitters and pigments; I rather add mixing medium to this brush (3/8) and not my MAC ones. I own two (3/8), because they are so handy. And yep, had not cleaned my brushes when I took this pics.
