This is my first post. Yay! I am going to start off with skincare. Many of you have heard of DHC, but for those who haven’t heard. DHC is a company based in Japan that creates products based on the natural benefits of olive oil. I really like some of the products. At first I though oh no, there is no way I will like DHC. I have combo to oily skin and lets just say, my oily areas are a pain, especially my chin. This is the most congested part of my face. So I thought, put oil on my face… no way! Well I was wrong. I gave this brand a shot and I am happy I did. The products that I use are the deep cleansing oil, the washing powder, extra night time moisture, seaweed concentrate and mineral mask.
1)The deep cleansing oil is great for removing all gunk from your face after a long day. Like when you come home tired, and you just want it all off. This stuff just removes it all. It just makes my life easier.
2)The washing powder, is just that.. a white powder in a bottle with a flip top. The bottle is easy to carry because of its size. It is not very small, but I wont say it is very big. I wet my hands and lather the powder in my hands with the water. It makes a nice silky feeling foam. I like to use this is the morning when I first wake up.
3)The extra night time moisture is very moisturizing, but looks greasy on me. I would not use this during the day, when I am out in public. My combo skin just screams NO!! I like to use this at night when I am headed to bed. It leaves my skin soft and radiant come morning.
4)The seaweed concentrate I have not used very long. It is a clear looking serum and is not the easiest to spread all over my face. I prefer to mix it with a moisturizer at bed time so it spreads evenly. This product is about to be discontinued at DHC so I probably wont be purchasing again.
5)The mineral mask I do like. It is suppose to help draw out impurities. I use it once a week and it just makes my face look much nicer after I rinse it off. This one is a bit pricey. You get 3.5 oz for 34$, but it does last a long time since you just need a thin layer on your face. Luckily, DHC is always having sales, which makes buying products so much nicer.
