Hello Beauties!! Just wanted to bring you guys a review on a few products I received in the mail a few weeks ago. I actually had never used body lotions by Vaseline’s before, but I am really happy I had the chance to try and review some great Vaseline products. I have been using the Vaseline aloe fresh (Hydrating) body lotion and the Vaseline aloe fresh (Protecting) body lotion with SPF 15.
I really love how light the body lotions are and how quickly they absorb into the skin. The Vaseline (Hydrating) feels lighter when applied to the skin when compared to the the Vaseline (Protecting). However they are both light and have a fresh SPA scent…think cucumber fresh. I like to use the Vaseline (Hydrating) body lotion after a shower or right before I go to bed; it keeps my skin feeling smooth, fresh and quenched. During the day I use the Vaseline (Protecting) because I love that it has SPF. I apply the lotion on my way out the door and I feel protected without having the greasy or sticky feeling many sunscreens leave behind.

The Vaseline body lotions will not break your bank and keep the skin moisturized and protected. The Vaseline (Protecting) body lotion costs $5.49 for 20.3 fl. oz. and the Vaseline (Hydrating) body lotion costs $5.79 for 24.5 fl. oz. The prices may vary depending on the size of the bottle and the store where it is purchased.
The Vaseline aloe fresh (Moisturizing) daily body gel really surprised me. I have used moisturizing gels from the baby section and they are so icky, sticky and oily. To the point that I have to wash my hands with soap for a few minutes to get the oiliness out. The Vaseline (moisturizing) gel…I LOVE It!! It is so fresh, light and dissolves into the skin in seconds. The best part being that it is NOT icky, sticky and oily. I am really enjoying the gel. The moisturizing gel costs $6 for 6.8 fl. oz. and can be easily throw into a bag and taken with you.
So if you are out there looking for some light, fresh non sticky feeling products. I recommend you check out Vaseline’s aloe fresh range. I really am enjoying their products.

The review is based on my experience with the above mentioned products. Your experience may be different or maybe the same. May vary depending on your skin type and climate.

Hello Beauties!
Have any of you tried the Regis Design line? I picked up an Olive Oil shampoo & conditioner over a month ago and was very excited to try the products. My stylist swore by this shampoo & conditioner and since her hair type is similar to mine, I had to try it. Let me just say that…my hair does not like this shampoo, but the conditioner is very well tolerated. The shampoo is very sweet smelling…like very sweet cupcakes. So, if you like very sweet, you’ll probably like how it smells. It has pretty good lather, but lathers best on the second run. (Had to wash it with shampoo twice in a row.) Right after rinsing my hair, I noticed how dry my hair felt. It was also tangled and felt like straw.
Good thing I had the olive oil conditioner to follow with. The conditioner worked well at taking the tangles out and also helped with the straw feel, but it is not a fave. The conditioner also has a sweet scent to it and a little conditioner goes a long way. The cost is about $9.50 for the 12 oz bottle, unless it’s on sale. I have kept using the Shampoo since I still have a lot of product…but I can’t do it anymore. My hair has gotten so DRY with the shampoo and with summer almost here…I can’t be taking any chances. The olive oil conditioner after this shampoo just isn’t enough for my hair.
Note: The shampoo and conditioner ingredients read olive leaf not olive oil.
Pros: Shampoo
Sweet scent (if you like sweet scents)
Cons:
Drys hair out
Hair stays tangled
Hair feels like straw
In the long run, hair feels worse
Not worth the price
Pros: Conditioner
Sweet scent (if you like sweet scents)
Little goes a long way
Detangles hair
Con:
There are better/cheaper conditioners
This was my experience with the Regis Shampoo & Conditioner. Your experience may be the same or may be different. Afterall, there are many different hair types.

Planning to take a trip to California or Florida this summer? Are you a Mickey, Minnie, Dumbo or Tinkerbell fan? Check out the New Dooney & Bourke bags for Disney Parks. Personally, I would go with the black Mickey Mouse tote or wristlet bag, because it reminds me of the Autism puzzles. To get an idea on pricing, go to DisneyStore.com.

Hello Ladies! I have been having fun playing with a pretty awesome flat iron by Hana. I really like that the flat iron is 100% ceramic…good for even heat distribution. One of the first things I did was flip through the manual, which tells you what setting to use depending on your hair type. My hair is thick so I had mine set to the highest setting 450 F. In the style tips section of the manual it shows you how to give yourself some curls. So…you know I had to play around with that! Before going into the review, let me show you ladies what came in the mail.

Hello Dolls! Sorry I have been away so long. The last few months have been busy, not to mention cold and drying to my skin. Don’t you just hate it when your skin starts getting flaky in the winter? Mine does and exfoliating only gets a certain amount of dead skin off. For the last couple weeks, I have been using the MB Seaweed Night Cream before I go to bed and it has kept my face moisturized and free of dry patches. I love being able to touch my face and not having it feel all grainy. Just soft and smooth skin!
The cream comes in a white jar and holds 1oz of product. The cost is $20. Don’t be alarmed with the price, a little goes a long way. I just place 5 small dabs on my face and work it in…forehead, chin, cheeks and nose. The cream is green in color and smells fresh and clean.
Here are the ingredients:
Deionized Water, Bladderwrack Extract,Polyglycerylmethacrylate,Stearic Acid,Isopropyl Myristate,Cetyl Alcohol,Glycerin, Hydrolyzed Elastin, Hyaluronic Acid,Collagen,Propylparaben,Triethanolamine,Methylparaben,Benzoic Acid,Imidazolidinyl Urea
